As part of our incident response capability, Spill Response Wales holds an extensive stock of various pumps and pipework.  If required, we can deploy to site with a variety of pumps to assist with removing water from basements or premises.

We have previously assisted with not only river and stream flooding, but also with basements and floors flooded from burst pipes and accumulations of fire fighting water.

Our specialism lies in being able to treat contaminated water. Where flood waters may be impacted with fuel or oil, Spill Response Wales can also deploy mobile water treatment equipment to address both floating free phase oil/fuel and dissolved phase hydrocarbons if required.
